corrosion of electrical terminal on battery bank
about two weeks ago my 2007 summit was not responsive when I went to use it. I notice the terminal from the battery charger to the bank was broken from corrosion so I replaced it cart worked fine
Same terminal failed yesterday from corrosion. replaced it cart worked fine. There is a great deal of green corrosion on the battery terminals which I have not seen before. What is causing the accelerated corrosion? Weak ground somewhere? |

Re: corrosion of electrical terminal on battery bank
Just about all "melted terminal" issues are because of a bad connection somewhere. I would clean all "large wire" connections on your cart and apply some dielectric grease when reattaching. I bet that takes of your issue.
