The top half of my windshield on my Club Car just cracked. Can I buy just one half and use a hinge like this?

not really that much more .. US Plastics was $10.04 for 6 ft + $17.15 s/h = $27.19 ..and you have to cut it yourself
i ordered two 3ft ones for $20 + $9.54 s/h = $29.54 and got a FREE plastic care kit !!!

yes you can use the hinge for that but remember the top half has the curve to allow the windshield to hold in clips when folded down .. i don't know if you could buy just the top half
call Dean @ Plastic-Craft 1-800-627-3010 he told me they can make a windshield ... get demintions for windshield first

got the hinge in and installed it in 30 min .. chipped off old hinge with putty knife ... then used gorilla glue to make sure it don't move

Any chance you can post a close up photo of the finished job? It looks like I am going to have to replace mine, also.

Nice find. This will make it really easy to modify windshields for chopped tops.

remember to order the right size hinge ... mine was 1/4" thick... they have the 3/16" too
also wear safety glasses when chipping off old hinge... it flew every where
