Melex 252 specs
I am about to bring home a model 252 on a small trailer, and can't find out how much it weighs, or any other specs, for that matter. Anybody got some data they could share?
thanks, Jeff |
Re: Melex 252 specs
Roughly 800 pounds with batteries

Re: Melex 252 specs
Sweet, thanks. Trailer can handle 1000, so should be good to go. It will barely fit on it, though!
Now, how do you pronounce "Melex"? ;-) Also, is there a site with any other tech data? Jeff |
Re: Melex 252 specs
A Melex 252 electric is pretty much identical (drive system, wiring, etc body, seats frame etc) to an early EZGO Marathon car. the 252 was my first golf car. The front windshield support and roof are vastly different however. hard finding them. my roof was fiberglass and fell apart and the only way to replace it was to use an enclosure that had those zippered doors and it worked alright.

Thanks! The cart is now in my garage! Got a maintenance manual, but can't find the id plate. Doh! Clues? Thanks!

I would like to DM someone, but think I need at least 4 posts to do so, so here is #4! ;-)

Does anyone know what year my Melex model 252 go cart is? The serial number is 180000.
