2016 Valor 13hp Kawasaki better speed and power?
3 Attachment(s)
Just got a brand new 2016 ezgo Valor with the factory 4 inch lift and 21 inch tires. it looks like it has the 4 leaf rear springs for the rear seat option. Also the factory lights, brake, and horn.
Question is what can i do to get it faster, seems slow compared to older carts and my sons PDS. I have read about adjusting the governor, I was also told to try a thinner belt? attached pics, installed a few mods already a elite console and 4 speaker stereo, and custom steering wheel. |

Should run mid 20s without a problem but if you are going to push it buy a tach. Gov adjustment is the small barrel threaded shaft with the coil spring at the end of the cable on top of the transaxle. 2 10 mm nuts adjust the length. Tighter it is faster it goes.. Keep it at 4K or less on the Kawasaki

You need a tachometer built for this setup. Mine is made by Moose. Was about $30 and has a wire that wraps around the plug wire.
