2022 ICON Controller Parameters.

Figured I would start a thread where everyone can post their findings when playing with the parameters of the new 2022 icon controllers. Post what you changed and the result. Also be a good place to post explanation in layman’s terms what exactly each parameter does as they are figured out.

Re: 2022 ICON Controller Parameters.

Good call. I’ve got the parts on the way to make my cable. My main priority is to improve drivability, right now I feel like the regenerative braking is set too high, and the throttle response is too aggressive. The only time I want to be thrown back in my seat is if I floor it.

I’ll share my results.

8.3.1 is the parameter for the regenative braking. It’s
Most likely set to “1” if you change it to a “2” it turns it off.

Do you know if this is something I can do myself, or does my dealer have to do it?

Dealer needs to perform the firmware update.

As far as increasing the speed I am told it’s done different than the old Toyota/NEOS controllers. On the neos controllers you just raise the max motor rpm’s. I’m told on these new 2022 icon controllers you need to adjust the k/mh. Don’t know the exact parameter yet.

You can set the rpm’s here as well if you login as admin.
When admin, rpm’s show up on the speed menu.

1 Attachment(s)
Can anyone direct me on steps to make changes in the new ICON software?
There is not a blank Colum to input changes like the older NEOS software?

I have a communication green light and it is reading info on new 22 cart. how do I input the changes and send to controller?

All I want to do is increase the speed from 22mph to 29-30ish.

any help would be appreciated.

Re: 2022 ICON Controller Parameters.

Will do.

I guess my question is how to make the changes to controller to even see if you get gains. I try to upload changes, then download, ect...

uplug from comp.

turn off key.

wait.

turn on key

plug back in

and settings reset to original RPM (37.9)

....

so I am assuming I am not doing in correct steps and data is never reaching the controller?
