fireballs coming from the muffler
I have an 83 ezgo, that was built for using at deer camp, nothing fancy. My son went to pick up a deer, and came back being towed by a 4 wheeler. He said that there where fire balls coming from the tail pipe. Can someone give me some insight to what the problem is?:help:

How big was the deer?:thumbup: Other than the fire balls was the cart running ok? Could be the muffler needs to be baked. Carbon deposits built up inside heating up and braking off.

I'm thinking the same thing. More so if you use it in a low RPM condition with a load on it.

That is probably it. They plug up and would even more so at low rpm, as said. The 2 stroke doesn't have much else to cause a fire ball problem. Replace the plug and see if it stops....then cook it.

Back to how big was the deer? Was he lugging it and it was rich and after fireing?

the deer was just a big old doe, nothing specktacular. thanks for the info I will try this and sww what happens andlet everyone know.
