Long travel

I'm sure this has been asked before....but I'm asking anyway. :help:
I have a 95CCDS48. It seems like there are only 2 choices for long travel lifts; Jakes and the one from Stretch Plastics. Any opinions which one is better or if there are more options I've yet to find. I'm tired of getting thrown around in my cart for the little bit of offroading I do. I currently have a Jakes 6" spindle which is fine for the road and a slower cart, but I want more stability and a smoother ride. Thanks in advance.

Birddogss, is it an a-arm with coil overs or a true long travel? Would you buy it again? How does it ride?

Re: Long travel

I have the Jakes long travel on a 96 CC. The ride and offroad capability of the lift have left me pretty happy. I will say that the front shocks are kindda cheapies for such a high priced lift.....just my opinion. I do believe that it is very well thought out, durable, and really does help to make the cart offroad pretty well by articulating enough to keep the rear tires on the ground.

Jake's will tell you that the shocks are cheap. They do this to keep the cost down. The Strech kit is the best available, but it is only a front lift. There have been many copy cats since the LT introduction. A - Arm, unfortunately no longer means longtravel. I don't have much experience with Club Car A - Arm lifts, as we mainly deal with EZGO carts. Each of the 2 kits are nice for EZGO's, but we modify both of them when we add them to our carts.

The TT front end is heavier duty no doubt..I own both..The strech will have a little softer ride and the TT will be firmer ..Both are nice..
