Jake's Sport Shifter (or anyone else's)
Good day guys. I searched but did not find an answer.
I really want to do something like the Jake's shifter on my G16, but on all the videos and pictures I can find on-line, it appears that the shifter has to be pressed into the seat to go into reverse. Now, it may work fine...but I'm wondering what this will do to the seat. In some of the pictures, you can see a mark in the seat where the shifter hits. I called Jakes today to ask about this. A very nice young woman told me that they all do this, regardless of the golf car in which they are installed. In my thinking, this is a flaw that could easily be addressed in a few ways. I wonder why they sell them like this. So....does anyone have one installed in a G16 (or similar)...or can anyone comment about this? Or....is my info bad? |

I saw this thread by a guy who built his own. Looked pretty cool. Here's the link to it: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/desig...ter-build.html
