2002 electric EZ GO Golf Cart Just stopped running
 

Drove my 2002 electric ez go golf cart for about 4 miles then went to the pool and when I returned it would not move. Lights work, back up signal works. Towed it home put on charger and fully charged it. Checked battery cables and they are fine. I think it is something simple I hope. I dont have a voltage meter but can get one if needed to diagnose the problem. I have never changed the batteries which makes them about 6 years old but the cart was running perfect and holding a good long charge

if your cart has a reed switch you might want to check that 1st......its in the charge receptical on the cart i think it has a red wire and a white wire with a little glass type thing at the end......when they go bad it will stop ya dead.........theres a way to bypass it but i,m not certain on the process.................................8)
