G9 clutch
Hi everyone, I have a G9 primary clutch that is in really bad shape it is not
worth rebuilding. My question is that I have a 98-02 G22 clutch that is in good shape, could I use this clutch in my G9?:? |
Re: G9 clutch
I could be found wrong, but I believe you can. So I would continue the R&R.

Thanks, I have not pulled the old one off yet. I just ordered the
clutch puller. |

Re: G9 clutch
Thats one good thing about a yamaha- any clutch from a G1 on up will fit all their motors

Re: G9 clutch
I was told that yamaha only sells the roller clutch for replacements now....but I did find parts to rebuild a weight style at a dealer a while ago. They said sure you can get parts for the older G9 clutch. I put a new sheave on it, works great.
