G1 rod bearing
Can a used rod bearing still be used for a rebuild? They still look good and not much play, thanks

Re: G1 rod bearing
If it is old I'd replace it. They are not expensive. However, the crank must be pressed apart to remove and replace, then pressed back together. Machine shops should be able to do this service.
If you are buying a new crank kit it will come with rod and bearing already installed. |

Oh ok I misunderstood, yes, that usually comes with the piston kits. If you are using original piston then sure go for it. They do wear so if it feels loose at all I'd replace. If you haven't owned this cart for long, who knows how old that bearing is. My motto....do it right the first time....
