New solenoid/ No click

I put a new solenoid on my 96 EXGO DCS. When i press the excelerater nothing happens. The cart is fully charger. I am pretty sure the controller is shot but would like some other opinion.

you can do a continuity test on the micro to check it with a voltmeter

Why the new solenoid?

Did you switch the controller toggle switch to TOW before starting the work?

Did you switch it back?

Re: New solenoid/ No click

The reason for the new solenoid is basically stupidity on my part tring a test that was the wrong test for that motor. Smoke from the controlller and solenoid . I knew then i had screwed up. I was told the controller was bad when i got it so there was no loss there. the cart shop in the nearest town is getting me a new controller. More to come with pics soon.

If you plan on a lift in the future or have one I would upgrage to a 400 since you already have to spend the money and it is programable also.
