Rear end oil changing

I have a 2008 PDS, when do I need to consider changing rear end oil and what type of oil is used, also, I can see how it is drained but how is it filled?

The original fill is good for 5 years. A good 30 weight oil is used. See the manuals at the stickys you pump it in and it takes almost 2 qt.

25 oz to be exact. According to the 2008 service manual the fluid is Mobile 424 lubricant. I wasn't familiar with it as these carts are not due for an oil change until 2013. Here is a link to the recommended lube and it's description/properties.

It looks like Ezgo made a good choice for a durable lubricant with exceptional properties.
