90 ezgo 2stroke overheats and wont run
 
I just got this cart have changed fuel pump, cleaned carb and muffler, and it runs really well, until its hot and I stop!!!:help: once it cools down, it runs great again. Thanks for any help!:thumbup:

mine has developed a similar prob but i have not had a chance to check anything yet

There is a fan mounted to the flywheel that pulls air through the shroud work, and over the cooling fins. If any of that is plugged with mud, grass, or a mouse nest, it won't cool.

A lean mixture will also cause overheating.
