curtis controller temperature sensor

hello all,

We ,in our team, are trying to develop an electric Car using curtis controller 1238 and an Ac motor. so, we bought the one of the given temperature sensors in the curtis 1238 manual. does anyone knows about the temperature sensor connection to the AC motor and it's optimal place of installation?

thank you.

Re: curtis controller temperature sensor

The temperature sensors are usually embed into the windings of the motor themselves by the motor manufacturer. If you were to simply place one on the winding, you would have to map the sensor in VCL to compensate for the different location, and temperature cutback.
