1981 ez go muffler replacement
Cart is kind of loud and looking into replacing the muffler. Ive never done this before, but is it as simple as taking the old one off and putting the new one on in it's place?
Thanks in advance for any advice |

Glimer, due to the design any two stroke engine is very brutal on exhaust gaskets. It may just be that you have burnt a hole in the cylinder / pipe gasket. Before you invest $100 + on a muffler it might be worth replacing the gaskets first. If that isn't the solution then you can reuse them with a new muffler so you loose nothing by trying.

Amen, Dave - I keep several spares around as I have blown a couple of them (on the 88s anyhow its the same gasket at the cylinder and the muffler so again, might not hurt to just grab a set)
