1988 gas ezgo engine type and size
 
got a 1988 ezgo gas with original engine 2cycle what type and size is this engine

There should be a tag on you motor , on the side closest to your muffler. It should have the motor type, and how many cc's the motor is, and the model # of the motor.

1980-1988 was called a 2PG 2 stroke. '89-'94 was the 3PG 2 stroke. I don't have the cc specs or any other info. This is from a parts catalog. The service and engine shop manuals are hard to find...(for free!) I'll look for some more stuff.
