How did you ship your motor?
I was replacing the 6ga wires with 4 ga last night. Got to the motor and one of the lugs twisted off. I was holding the bottom nut also. It was just frozen. I figure it is a good time to just send it off to Plum Quick for an upgrade.
How did you ship your motor to them or anyone else. I was thinking of making a plywood shipping carton for it. It would cost a couple $ more but it would be better protected I think. Any ideas? Thanks |
Re: How did you ship your motor?
Contact them and maybe they will mail you an empty shipping box they use for motors. Just a thought.

Re: How did you ship your motor?
When I shipped my motor I wrapped it in enough cardboard to protect the terminals then secured it with duct tape, then put it in a box.

Thanks guys. I wanted to ship it tomorrow so I built a crate for it out of some scrap plywood. It is heading to PQ tomorrow.
