90 36 V Hyundai Motor question

I just installed new brushes on a 2hp Hyundai golf cart motor however I am unsure where he lead from the battery goes. 3 of the connections are labeled as A1, S2, F1. I hooked A1 to A1 on the motor. I hooked S2 to S2 on the motor and I hooked F1 to S1 on the motor (just a guess) There is nothing hooked to A2 and there are two more wires to hook up. The battery and a negative that goes to the where the charger connects (its black) Can some one help me before I blow it up!!!!! Thanks CODE OUT.

Should be A1 and A2 for armature then either S1 and S2 OR F1 and F2 for feild. The S and F are both letters for feild connections.

What A2 are you referring too? Is it on the controller?...got any pics of the electrical?

There's one at this campground except it's a gasser with the dreadful Suzuki V270G. It smokes like a freight train.

I tested the connection by using the reverse buzzer to test the circuit. It seems to be working fine played 18 holes in 2.5 hrs yesterday. It runs great!!!! I'll take a pic and post on xmas day. Have to go to the parents today. Thanks for the help.

I think you can put an EZ-GO motor in that thing and make it run A LOT better, and faster.. by factory specs, hyundai was using the cheapest D.C. motors they could find...

Re: 90 36 V Hyundai Motor question

Yeah I found a couple 2hp motors that would work. The cheapest was from a place called "the solar.biz" or somthing like that. They quoted me 365 plus 35 shipping so I figured I'd try smoothing the armature and going the brushes and new bearing route before I put 400 dollars in a obsolete cart. Can you get me one cheaper or lead me in the direction of a cheaper dealer?
