Can you explain this in much more detail? I do not know how you are doing this?

Battery reading after charged and setting 1 hour? Also may have a battery hooked up backwards.

Put new batteries in a year ago ran OK then it would just click when I tryed to go. It still would run in reverse. After alot of trial and error I hooked the forward wire to the reverse 18 volt post and it ran forward I then hooked it to the 24 volt and it ran. When I try the 30 or 36 volt hookup on the last 2 batteries postive posts just click. Batteriers are charged. Over my head thanks for the help

Ok, that helps. Lets start with the basics. What is the cart serial #?

George , do you have a Digital Volt Meter ?

The Batteries should all be wired with the negative - of the first battery connected to the + Positive on the 2nd Battery ,
then the - Negative of the second connected to the +Positive of the 3rd Battery ....etc.

Look at the 36Volt wiring Diag here http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ry-wiring.html
