Can I simply unplug the reverse buzzer on my 86 ezgo?

Re: reverse beeper
yes , you can unplug the reverse alarm and nothing else will be affected , what I did was install a toggle switch next to the shifter and can turn the alarm on or off

Re: reverse beeper
It's there for safety reasons, alot of people wrap the buzzer with electrical tale to lower the sound level.

Re: reverse beeper
muffle that rascle with some tape. disconnect it and there WILL be an accident. I had mine unplugged for about 2 weeks then someone (me) thought they were in reverse until I smashed a parts bin in the shop. They are annoying but there is a reason.

Trash that dang thing! Just pay attention to what gear you are in. My truck doesnt beep at me to tell me that i am in reverse, i just know!:lhmo: That is put on there so E-Z-GO didnt get sued when someone hit something. Again, it is all up to you!8)
