My DS Gas shift lever is stuck in F
I just acquired a 97 DS gas cart. The shift lever won't move from F to N or R.
This is my first post, and I'm sure not my last. All replies are appreciated. Thanks |

I would remove the cable from the arm on the rear end and try to shift by hand. That would help identify if the rear end is locked up or if it is something within the cable or shifter.

On top of your transaxle there is a lever that your shift cable operates. Remove the cable and see if you can shift it. Your cable may froze up.
