since michigan doesn't allow golf carts on the roads, i assume you just need lights to see?
these cheap led lights will sear your eyeballs out and light up off road well

this marine headlight switch will last for ever on a golf cart
all brass won't corode or quit on you, i have the same switch for 5 years

you'll be in this all of $26
if you want tail lights it'll add a few bucks on that

Not true. It depends on the area. We drive on the streets here all the time. There’s one road near me that recently passed legislation banning golf carts on that one road, but it’s really busy and 55mph. I wouldn’t want to drive on that road anyway. That road is flat out dangerous on a golf cart. Even then you can still drive across it to get to the country club if you want, just not drive down it.

I'm in Michigan and we can drive pretty much anything we want on any dirt road around my town, just not the paved roads.

Being in farm country, there are only a few paved roads and I have no desire to be on them.

(21) As used in this section, "golf cart" means a vehicle designed for transportation while playing the game of golf.
did you read that legaleze? you wear a crash helmet on the roads? no rear seat?
do you look at xmas lights during the day? golf cart not allowed 1/2 hr before sunset
this line surprised me: A village, city, or township shall not charge a fee for listing golf carts or the operators of those golf carts.
i stand by my comment. that looks like it was made so a few tourist areas could have golf carts
i drive on the road all the time, so do other people in my area.
the cops don't stop me, doesn't mean it's legal
