2017 gas drive 2

I have a 2017 drive 2 EFI. Sometime when I stop and then push the accelerator nothing happens. I then turn the key off and back on and the cart then runs. However I may go a bit then it will do it again. Any help appreciated.

I hope that someone will post a fix. I have the same problem with my 2020 PTV. I have used several fuel blends...does not effect anything. HELP!!!!

Pedal switch.
Either disassemble it and clean it or replace it. Don't lose the ball and spring if you disassemble it.

This answer is based on the statement that "nothing happens"

Agree with rstacy here...If indeed "nothing happens" as in cart does not click from solenoid or turn over...pull up your floor board and check the stop switch behind pedal...

I lubed the rod on the bottom of the switch with WD-40. So far ...so good!

WD-40 is ok as a penetration oil or solvent but not a good lube... it evaporates in short order. Get some Tri-Flo or similar libricant. You will be happier in the long run.

Have you done anything other than spraying WD-40 on the outside of the pedal switch?
