.50mm Oversized pistons
 

Has anyone here with the non-MCI 350cc ever used the .50mm oversized pistons?
I've read that the 295 head will raise compression... true or false?
Is the camshaft upgrade worth the money?

Thinking about an overhaul this winter.

It's been done..... with mixed reviews.
My buddy did it..... it lasted about 2 months.

I'm not a fan. This Robin engine has no crankshaft bearings and no rod caps. That makes this a throw away engine... It's a shame but it is the truth.

Some of the guys were wowed with the power increase, others couldn't get the throttle ramping to work smoothly.

You need to research it good before you commit IMHO. 8)
