DIY Long Travel Suspension?

Has any built there own custom lift for an electric club car? I have a elder and love to fabricate, however I am still learning. I'd love to make a nice lift for my cart. I do not want to do the Z frame lift.

Anyone know of a good writeup or have some dimensions?

Just FIY, I have about 100 hours in the fab work, and probably another 100 hours in planning and research....just sayin....maybe a Jakes for you? If you've never done this, you'll have a good time, but it will take some hours to get it right. If you are confident in your abilities and you want to try it, I'd be glad to be a resource for you. I really learned alot about dual a arm suspension geometry in the last 12 months!

If I had to do it over again....and there was a "bolt on" kit avail for my G1....that's probably what I would do.:|

Just did a quick search on the net, found this for comparison....

If you have 100 hours in fab time at $10 per hour, that's $1000. Not sure what your time is worth to you? You can assemble this kit in probably one day.
