Is this Marathon a solid state or resistor?
Did you get everything back the way it was? Check the key switch for voltage, check the pot box for continuity and the pot box micro.

Hi I believe it is a resistor. I am a woman doing all the work by myself. I am not half bad. Not much help from anyone else. I take pictures before i tear anyything down. I know a little about everything and not much more. Have been working on my golf cart for over a year now. Still not running. After i replaced the solenoid switch it ran. And then it just quit while i was driving it. Any help would be very much appreciated. Batteries have been checked they are all fine. Shows fully charged. Its a 1990 marathon with a lift kit. F/R went out i replaced it all first then the solenoid. Not sure where to go from here.

Can you post some pics of the battery bay? That would help.

You have an electronic speed controller. It is the vertically mounted box right next to the solenoid with the 2/0 cables attached.

Jack up cart rear and put on jack stands first.
Try jumping the large posts of the solenoid. Use a 6ga or larger cable to do this.

Let us know if the wheels turn when you jump the solenoid.

Did you check the items as Paxdad has suggested? Are all good?
