97 ds runs but no speed
 

I have a 97 ds I am working on. The cart was brought to me with the s1 terminal burnt off and a pretty bad rig job in attempt to make it work. Anyhow I put new studs and isolator blocks in the motor and got it working some what. The cart will spin the tires slowly when up in the air but will not move the cart on the ground.

I have 49.6 pack volt. I blocked the tires and pressed the accl pedal all the way to the floor the cart moves just a little and just has no power. At this point the pack volts drop to 49.3 and holds there. Same voltage readings at the controller and motor???

I checked the yellow and green wire at the controller from the multi step it is reading 5 ohms at rest and 2.2 ohms full throttle.

Not real sure where to go from here. Any suggestions would be great.

2.2 ohms needs to be closer to 0 ohms.
Have you tried adjusting the linkage or opened it to see if you have full movement? This is a vglide ?

Yes it is a vglide. I have the cover off. The contacts look good not sure if I have 100% full movement but I know for sure it is getting to the next to last contact if not the last one which should give me something other than what I got.

Does it have a rocker switch for fnr or lever?

Check out this thread and see if it helps you any. This one ended up being the controller not sending the proper throttle voltage to the v glide therefore not getting enough voltage in return to go full throttle.

Yep that did it. Had a used controller put it in and it ran like a champ. Thank you
