Get some engine degreaser and clean the motor well. After you run it you should see where it's coming from.
dipstick tube, drain plug, side case gasket, crank seals.
Some club cars have a hole and rubber plug in the back of the block under the S/G that is for the dipstick tube on other applications, check that?
Check to see if the breather tube is still in place, that keeps a slight vac on the crankcase and might be off or blocked.

EDIT: I'm sorry, how rude of me, WELCOME TO BGW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can get an OEM from the dealer or just measure the hole and go to your local auto parts store and pick up a rubber freeze plug, stick it in and tighten the nut.

Where is this rubber plug you mention under the s/g? What does s/g stand for? I have an oil leak I have been trying to fix, too. Thanks, Bert

Re: Oil Leak 99 club car

keep in mind that plastic plug under the S/G is not engine oil its from the trans or rear end............they do pop out and throw opil everywhere if you found the old one you can get some grease resistant glue and clean ther hole pop plug in and let dry ......................................8)

Re: Oil Leak 99 club car

I plan to pull the engine in a few weeks to try to fix the leak again. The last time it looked to me like it was leaking from the flywheel side. I replaced the shaft seal and some gaskets but, it still leaks. A few years ago I replace the gasket cover on the other side (clutch side) and did stop a leak then.

Thanks for the information, Bert
