headlight bounce
I was wondering if anyone has a fix for my headlights. I recently put a set of headlights on my G2, everything went as planned however when I drive with them on, they bounce so much I'm afraid I may have a siezure. Is there some way to secure them so they don't bounce around so much. Thanks, Dave

Re: headlight bounce
Mine are on a little angle mounted in front of the shock, they don't move. You will have to put a bracket of some kind or something is loose there. They do have to be kind of solid. I have a G9 and they are under the front plastic.

Re: headlight bounce
If they are mounted on the body they with bounce.
If you have bouncy off road tire will make it worse. I have a light kit on my G2 and they do ok on a smooth road but off road I would rather dirve in the dark. My eyes can adjust better to darkness than all the light bouncing around. |
Re: headlight bounce
Thanks for the help. Mine are mounted on the body like TheChevymans. Looks like I'll have to work with Sho's advice. I guess I can drill out the plastic housing that they are mounted to and fashion up a bracket mounted to the shock mounts and attach the lights to a post (that goes through the light housing) so that the lights are mounted independent of the body.
