96 yamaha gas cart
 

Looking at purchasing a 96 yamaha gas cart. It is non running.Prior owner hooked up the battery in reverse- negative to positive etc... and now it won't start or run. Any suggestions of what could be wrong? Thinking of doing a Vegas carts big block kit but I want to get the original motor up and running first. PO stated it ran fine until he attempted to replace the dead battery in the dark.

Check the 10a fuse in the black box to the right of the battery. It's probably blown...

Stock motor likely worth some coin if you go that way, get it running first.
