i got my 13hp clone for 318.00 to the door from carroll stream ayear ago.its red so looks just like the real thing. finally got the time to put it in after having the crank turned to match the clutch for 50.00 bucks. runs great eyeballed the allianment drilled four holes and bam it works great except i got the belt alittle tight have to shut it off to put it in gear.

my old flat head was in parts with no air box .carb and i dont no what else missing. looks like piston rod broke.didnt hurt block any.

I bought one last Friday from Harbor Freight they have a 'new' store here and it was on sale for 299 , and it still hits the gear head on the rear end just like the opposed twin 18 did . may not even be able to use it on this project . but it don't eat nothing to sit there .:lol:

According to Aaron, after you get those little motors tuned out good it runs like a champ. Says it runs better than his vanny, but I don't konw about that. :lol:

Hey guys hoping you can help me out. I found a used Honda GX390 13hp motor. Would I be able to bolt this right up to the factory mounts without huge modifications to a 1995 Club Car? It had the Kawasaki FE290 motor. It's pretty inexpensive and wondering what I'll need to do to make this work.
Can anyone help? |

Look under your thread!! You'll need a new mounting plate and some clutch mods. Nothing serious though.
