Pictures wanted of Jakes Spindle Lift Installed

I've ordered my spindle lift kit (6") from Jakes and it should be in today or tomorrow. Can any of you who have already installed these post some pictures of the front and rear ends so I can see how they should look?

Any tips and tricks will be appreciated!

Not sure what spindle lift you order but this is the one on my 01 club car. The side view pic shows the cart sitting lower in front, this is because of the heavy duty leaf springs in back. I just put some heavy duty spring up front and the cart sits really level.

Rear end pics, oh yes, when taking a corner really tight on this cart and having the suspension compressed just a little bit up front will make the tires rub, thats why i did a heavy duty leaf spring up front. The last picture is the height difference between the stock leaf springs and the heavy duty leaf springs. Both carts have a six inch lift by the way.

10507581 has got some nice pics!!! (and a nice cart!)

Here are a few of the assembly!
(Mine is a 3"... but not much of a difference!)

Note: The rear lift... the axle has to go underneath the leaf springs,
and the bolts on the front of the springs may be a b**ch to get out!
Otherwise it's pretty easy!!!

You really have nothing to worry about!

You were'nt kidding about those bolts on the front of the leaf springs!! I finally got them out, painted everything, and put the rear end back in the cart. I shipped the driven clutch to Tom at CPP so for machining so I think i'll tear into the front part. My Dad's been helping me (as seen in one of the pictures) but he's gone back home to PA so I'll be doing the front end solo. Hope it goes well! I'll post more pics as I progress.

Thanks Lockman, I appreciate the encouragement! I think I'll go ahead and start a new thread on the rebuild of this old cart and post pictures over there. I've been putting the pictures in my album in my profile, but i cant seem to get them to sort by the oldest photos first for chronological order.

You could use a "pickle fork", but I never did... it damages the rubber cone.

loosen the castle nut to the end of the threads on the tie rod,
and give it a smack, or 2... or 3... with a mallet or a hammer, it "should" pop right out!
