98 gas ezgo clutch HELP
Just picked up this 98 gas ez go . It has set for some time? I finally got it running BUT the clutch will not engage? the big black drum on the end of the crank is what im refering as the clutch? i can move it with a lil pipe any help would be appreciated Thanks

Welcome to BGW!!
What you are refering to is the Drive Clutch and there is a spring inside that black drum. There could possibly be something wrong with spring. The two sheaves slide together on the shaft could be marked up or rusted also. |

i took the belt off and can slide the black drum by hand. on one of the other forums someone suggested its not reving high enough? 0-1/2 throttle revs fine , 1/2-full throttle it flutters and dont rev? 150psi compression went thru tank ,carb , and new fuel line and filter, and valves are set at 004? Any ideas?
