08 precedent electric speed sensor problem. Cart starts at proper speed then slows .

Cart starts fine then slows to half speed. I pushed it before the high speed quit and the buzzer worked. Ran it till high speed quit then pushed it and the buzzer didn't work. Pushed it in reverse and the buzzer worked after high speed quit. Can someone tell me how to get to the speed sensor?

The speed sensor is located on the right end of your motor looking at it from the rear. Should have three wires going to it. Don't remember the colors. Your can get to it by removing the access cover located in the bag well.

Thanks gsp041. Is there a way to bench test it?

Does anyone have a video how to put in a speed sensor? I seem to be having the exact same issue with my cart. Also, is there a way to tell if I have the correct motor to put in a speed magnet? I have no idea how to tell which current setting my motor is at. Any help would be awesome... Any suggestion where I can get a speed sensor for a decent price? I see the range on eBay is rather large. I have seen from 40$ all the way to 120$.
