Are parts available
Sorry I posted this in the ezgo section cause it looked a little like an ezgo but the more I research it appears that this is some sort of club car. My dad is wanting to buy this and I have no idea what it truly is and if parts are even available for it. The guy is only asking $999. Can anybody help me. Thanks in advance, Mike

Re: Are parts available
Since it's made in china I imagine that's why he wants to sell it so cheap and that's the reason it's still sitting there with that broken axle.Made in china probably means parts have to be ordered from china and are the electronics interchangable or are they china made only ?.Something to think about before buying somebody else's headache ...

Re: Are parts available
I kinda think that too but the axle pic looks a lot like a club car axle and the charger says club car on it (which doesn't mean a lot but it's something to go on).

Re: Are parts available
Seems like a frankencart. The body and cowls are all EZGO, while the charger and axle is CC.

Re: Are parts available
so you see the CC axle as well. I wonder if I could find one to fit? Prolly can't weld something like that can I?

Re: Are parts available
I'd say finding an axle wouldn't be too tough. I don't think I would trust it if I welded it...

Re: Are parts available
You could put a coupla' wheelbarrow type handles on it and use it as a rickshaw...

Re: Are parts available
Perfect! Maybe that's what I'll do. I can get my son to push me home when I'm drunk.
Anyway (keep in mind I know absolutely nothing about electric carts) I can buy a 48v CC that needs batteries on craigslist right now for $400-$500. Do you think I could use that as a donor cart? I don't know how controllers connect or work for that matter but is it possible to swap most of the parts from the donor to the limo and it work? Will I need to fab brackets and whatnots? My dad has been in search of a limo for a long time but there always way out of his price range. He always said if he could find a limo for $2000 he'd buy it but that just isn't possible. Now he can buy one for $700-$800 use a $400 donor cart and have a working limo for $1200. Not really a bad idea. I just wish I could find some info on this thing. |
Re: Are parts available
I'd offer $666
