'97 club car motor wiring problem
I had a mishap taking the motor out - forgot to unplug the little plug with the red, green and black wires that go to a sensor at the end of the armature shaft. the red and green wires appear to have pulled out of a plug. The black one luckily unplugged. Also can anyone tell me what this sensor does.

Motor speed sensor. I "think" you can run it un-plugged. At least long enough to get another one.

if its a regen motor, the controller should slow the car down to 5 mph until its fixed..
