Thank for this post. My neighbor had 2000 TXT that died. No spark. Replaced all components with no luck. Then did the HEI conversion and it’s up and running. Thanks again.

Yes, it's the same wiring.
Search some of the threads. There is one brand of module that doesn't work. At least two guys have bought it with poor results. I forgot the name of it.

This link is to a thread where the guy managed to get a 2003 four stroke 350 running on the HEI conversion. He lists the module that he used.

I have an 89 Marathon with no spark and am going to use your plan and install the 77 Nova system. The only question I have is what the AC voltage should I see from the pulsar coil. I am seeing around 1/2 volt ac presently and I thought I red somewhere I should see closer to 10 vac
