Need help in identifying driven clutch - gas marathon

I'm a first time cart owner, just got an 87 ezgo marathon, and I'm finding this site to be a valuable source of information.
I've seen pictures on this site of the driven clutch with the plastic buttons, and I decided to pull the cover and check mine for wear. What I found is not at all like the pics I've seen here. So, I'm wondering what I've got here, and hoping somebody will know. The cart is an 87 by the data plate, but it has the carburetor and muffler that are used on the 88s (thanks to Cart Around for this information). So maybe the 88s used a different clutch too??? I don't know.
I'll post pictures. You can also see a plastic piece sticking out from under the spring that looks like it was maybe part of a spring seat. But it's deformed now.
Any help identifying this is much appreciated.

That doesn't look anything like my 87 clutch. Check out this page The 3pg clutch is different. https://www.golfcartking.com/ezgo-pa...-drive-driven/

I believe the green spring is high torque.

Send some pictures of your body. Is it steel diamond plate? Wedge nose, or chopped nose with plastic front?

I wonder if you have some heavy duty work type model.

No diamond plate. and I would guess it's what you're calling wedge nose.
Yeah, it doesn't really look like anything at golfcartking.
Is ezgo still in business? Do you think they would take the time to answer any questions about this?

I have never seen one in person, so I don't know what an aftermarket TEAM clutch looks like. Maybe you have one.

OK. I'll get more pics. Probably late tomorrow though.
We know it's an '87 ezgo Marathon, probably late '87 because it has the '88 carb and muffler. I understand that there were a few of those in 87.

So is that an upgrade, or just a replacement? I don't know much of the history of this cart. I bought it from my neighbor, who had it for about a year and didn't do anything to it. He bought it from a "little old lady" but before that is anyone's guess. 'Course little old ladies might have hot rod sons too.
