Rib: Your point is taken. I have no idea how he's charging the 8 volt batteries he now has. One more would make it 40 volts. The motor can handle that voltage and amperage, for that matter. Frankly, other than tell him, if he insists, this may be a better way, I don't see where either of us told him anything wrong. Maybe you'd like to enlighten me. I'm always open to new, (to me), information. But, if all you have to offer is drive by's leave me out of it. Post your own advice and move on. Just for your education, continuing to run that cart on 32 volts, which he has obviously decided to do, is guarenteed to create problems. Problems more likely to cause injuries than a few, (4), extra volts are going to do. BTW, it's TRIED, not tryed. Now run along, report me to the mods and maybe we'll meet again on another forum.
