The newer technology includes a 32-bit CPU, so the XCT has a lot of processing power, far more than what is actually needed for Amp throughput management, so we will very likely be seeing some interesting attachments and add-on features for the XCT in the future.
Apparently sometime in 2016 they will introduce the Alltrax BMS-48 for a 48V Lithium conversion that communicates with the XCT via the CAN-BUS jack.
In the Toolkit programming software, I see several greyed out "User" tabs, apparently for different performance programming for wife, kids, golf, hunting, etc. Hopefully, they will introduce a remote panel of some-kind that will allow us to change "Users" without connecting a laptop.
Of course, Hi-Tech isn't for everyone.
