I am rebuilding the steering column on my 02 Club Car DS (MY FIRST
). Compared to my original column, I 'seem to' have some spare parts in the new kit. Hoping someone out there recognizes them. I have included three pictures:
- Parts off top of original column
- Parts off bottom of original column
- Parts in the kit that were not on my original column
In the "spare parts" picture (picture 3), the white collar seems to fit no where. The foam piece fits over the column anywhere. The metal ring (seal?) fits over the column, and almost fits inside of a bearing housing.
