This a good thread that I can't resist high jacking a bit.

I am working on a 350 Kaw. flathead clubcar. I am doing a rebuild or motor swap.
I noticed that behind the flywheel there looks to be the trigger for spark timing and also two charging coils. Is this just for the spark? Or is it a unused charging system?
