Re: 88 EZGO won't rev up to top speed
Being a lady, I have to ask,,,what is HEI? I have an '88 that won't run at top speed either. I've been told it's the seal at the crankshaft. I don't want to order that part if it could be something else.
It starts, no problem, sets there and runs but when you press the accelerator, it starts like you are going to fly,,,then almost immediately, starts chugging down and continues to move, but has no power, it's like fuel gets cut off, just gets enough to keep it moving.
I was told to put an electronic fuel pump on it.....really?
