You may or may not notice the 120#. You will have longer runtime, and potentially travel more miles on a charge. A six volt battery bank might last longer in years than an eight volt bank. I have never wished for less runtime, less distance or shorter battery life, EVER. I would have no problem running the extra six volts if it were my cart.
