The cart zips nicely up to 25mph (I've seen 26 and 27 but most of the time flat-out my cart only hits 25mph.) 0-25mph I've clocked at ~12 seconds. It won't push you back in your seats but its a decent time.

The I40L has a high torque 14:1 rear

The I40 has a high speed 10.5:1 rear

Hence the typical 25mph speed with occasional 26-27...

I didn't not know the 2 carts had different rear ratios....
