I did try checking the spark gap but have yet to find a spec. distance for these engines. The two carts I've tried don't seem to check very consistently, some times they check as expected others they don't. I'm not sure if that is a sign of a problem or just they way these engines work. My cart (9
needs a new V/R and I thought I would try it again after replacement.
This 02 TXT actually seemed to jump a bigger gap on the Pass side than the driver side.
If the wires are long enought we'll try the swap...
Anyone had any success with checking spark gap on these engines...?
