the 625 I put in the txt went to 4800/5000 with or without the governor wire hooked up.The "black governor wire" appears to have something to do with the low oil pressure sensor not sure how it works but i can tell you it don't make a bit of difference connected or unhooked.Will be interesting to see if the one I am putting in the g2 will be the same.
