Put it in and go. I put the same one in my cart recently when I went to 42v.

I was a little bit disappointed on how it(the cart) climbed hills so I called Damon ( Old friend and founder of Alltrax) and asked him him if the controller was set at 100% or some place lower. He said they are set at 100% power when they are shipped. He suggested the next step would be a better motor and he is a fan of D and D motors. I called them and on their recommendation I have their 1:1 motor coming.
