Hey guys how are ya. Somebody recently gave me a golf cart. 1982 EZ-Go two stroke. When I first got it, it would not start. After cleaning up some corrison, fresh fuel, and cleaning the carb finally got it going. Now having a problem at low speeds almost feels like im patting the gas but im not. It will also backfire out the exhaust fairly often. Once you get the cart to around 10 to 15 miles an hour it clears up and runs fine. It also seems to run better in reverse at low speed. I think it might be a spark issue maybe the Pulser coil from what I have read, but not sure. I get some strange drops in spark with a timing light which coincides with the running rough and missing. I didn't know if trying the HEI module would be worth a shot or not. So let me know your thoughts guys this thing is driving me crazy.
